Dr. Michael Kruger specializes in sports medicine and is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of non-operative orthopedic injuries in adults and children related to both sports and industrial activities. Elements of his practice include management of fractures, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and concussions, along with performance of pre-operative and pre-participation physicals.
Dr. Kruger formerly worked with the University of North Dakota men’s hockey and football teams, as well as the Red River and Central High School boys’ football and hockey teams. A Langdon, North Dakota, native, he earned his doctorate of medicine from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and completed his residency at Grand Forks Family Medicine in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine in both Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. Dr. Kruger also completed a sports medicine fellowship at Hennepin County Primary Care in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
